A Coach, a Guide,
a Companion on the Journey
Peter’s philosophy invites you to see the game through a fresh lens—a new “PARspective,” if you will.
What if the score was just a byproduct of the real game: being out there, feeling the wind, and appreciating the little victories between the shots?
He believes there’s so much more to golf than the scorecard—and so much more to you than your handicap.
Peter isn’t just a coach—he’s a guide who helps you rediscover the magic in your game. Whether you’re looking to add more fun to your rounds, host a meaningful charity tournament, or find a new perspective on the sport, Peter is here to bring a deeper connection to every swing.
And when he’s not on the course, you’ll find him sharing stories, sparking conversations, and helping others see the beauty in their game.
My father, Don Melton, introduced me to the game of golf at an early age and it helped that we lived near the Pajaro Valley Golf Course in the Santa Cruz / Monterey Bay Area. My mother June took up the game in her retirement years and is still playing at 88. As I tried to teach her how to enjoy golf, little did I know that I was teaching myself. She played a key role in the creation of The Invis-a-ball Training and with Conversations with Par.
My Dad played a lot of golf and enjoyed most of it until he passed away in 2015. We dedicated this bench and plaque to him on the 4th hole at the Spring Hills Golf Course in Watsonville, CA.
